June 18 @ 11:00 am 3:00 pm EDT

Join us on Saturday, June 18th from 11AM to 3PM for our Father’s Day Weekend Cruise-in With Special Guests Mike Hill and Kirk Shelmerdine! We have plenty of on-site parking, so bring out and show off your car, truck, or motorcycle and talk Winston Cup racing with a couple of legends.
Meet Our Special Guests
➤ Mike Hill started his Winston Cup career as crew chief for Cecil Gordon from 1973 to 1976. In the early 1980s, Hill teamed up with Junior Johnson & Associates as a mechanic and rear tire changer and assisted drivers like Darrell Waltrip, Terry Labonte, and Bill Elliott. Hill also worked as Jimmy Spencer’s crew chief in 1994 when the two teamed up to win the Pepsi 400 at Daytona International Speedway and the Diehard 500 at Talladega Raceway. Hill currently works as the Shop Foramen/Technician at IMSA’s Action Express Racing.
➤ In 1982 Kirk Shelmerdine joined Richard Childress Racing to become crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Sr. Together, they won 46 races, took home four Winston Cup Series Championships (1986, 1987, 1990, 1991), and won four consecutive UNOCAL Pit Crew Championships. Shelmerdine was the youngest crew chief to win a Winston Cup race and youngest to win a Winston Cup Championship. In 1992, he announced that he was retiring from crew chief duties and embarked on a racing career of his own. Shelmerdine was elected to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2022 and will be inducted in January 2023.
Keep In Mind
➤ Kirk Shelmerdine and Mike Hill will be signing autographs from 12PM to 2PM.
